Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist will build and manage rating and review programs across Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN). This role will have a tight pulse on customer opinions and feedback and will develop creative strategies to improve and acquire new product reviews. Core priorities include managing review capture processes and distributing customer success stories, testimonials and reviews to ensure we drive the public voice of the customer in marketing activities.

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Digital Marketing, Product and Customer Service teams globally to drive brand and product input from our customers. This role will empower marketing and product teams with customer feedback and data, create and optimize customer programs, identify problems, and implement strategies to accelerate the growth and retention of advocates for our products and brands.

Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness, and recreation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive strategy and own relationships with our third-party review platform. Seek to expand the volume and improve the quality of product reviews to maximize online visibility, revenue and conversions. Actively solicit customer reviews through post-purchase emails, incentivized offers and owner programs.
  • Collaborate with the Product Data team to syndicate third-party reviews and Q&As onto owned sites, Shopify sites and retailer sites.
  • Manage the execution of the Bazaarvoice TryIt sampling program and coordinate with product managers to select wholesale, retail and direct-to-consumer products for sampling.
  • Create and distribute reports with key metrics for brands, programs and product categories.
  • Work cross-functionally with our online customer service agents to streamline responses to consumer reviews and questions on our owned, eCommerce and retailer websites.
  •  Identify testing opportunities, efficiencies and optimizations to support the continuous improvement of review programs.
  • Manage and develop testimonial programs and distribute customer stories to social, email and brand teams for use in marketing communications.
  • Create and manage unique owner experiences and loyalty programs to benefit the brands’ customer-first approach. Develop review programs for B2B and professional segments, including installers and designers.
  • Collaborate with the DTC Communication team to create targeted email experiences designed to capture reviews throughout the customer journey.
  • Partner closely with our enablement leads and subject matter experts from across the company to deliver engaging experiences that help accelerate the adoption, retention, and expansion of our customer-first approach.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with third-party advocacy and review platforms, such as Bazaarvoice, Yotpo and PowerReviews.
  • Possesses a background in managing customer-facing programs for direct-to-consumer products or services.
  • Strong ownership mentality with a proven ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively with others and manage projects independently.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills; proven ability to create internal and external content experiences that reflect the customer’s perspective.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $55,000 USD - $88,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
