Summer Intern 2025 - Boarding

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intern to join our dynamic team at FreedomPay. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the payments technology industry, helping to develop and enhance innovative solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and a keen interest in the fintech space.

• The Boarding Intern’s main focus will be the releasing of credentials to merchants that are going live in production.  These “credentials” are needed for any merchant on our platform to start taking transactions.  The research that will be done prior to the releasing of the FreedomPay credentials is the confirmation of the test transactions that were ran when the store was boarded.  This involves access to our production credit cards, working with Excel, comparing data, along with delivery of information through our CRM (NetSuite).  As this will be the main focus of the intern’s responsibility, demonstration of proficiency and accuracy may open up other projects to assist with.

• Research of test transactions confirming settlement of stores boarded in production
• Releasing of FreedomPay credentials to merchants
• Participating in meetings with internal team members to track and convey boarding advancements, updates or changes in process
• Other related tasks as assigned

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with great time management- able to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to commit 4 days per week for the duration of the internship 
• Strong communication and organization skills
