Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Order Processing Assistant to join our production team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Order Processing Assistant will focus on order management and processing, vendor communications, and purchase order submissions. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical skills and proficiency in spreadsheet creation, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of order fulfillment, including the procurement of blank merchandise, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet client specifications.
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, negotiate terms, and maintain strong working relationships to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Prepare and submit purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and align with company standards and client requirements.
  • Utilize spreadsheet software to track orders, manage inventory levels, and analyze operational data to inform decision-making.
  • Work closely with the customer service and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and address any logistical challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or order processing, preferably within the apparel or merchandise industry.
  • Strong skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and professionalism in vendor and team interactions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and open to learning new systems and processes.
