What you'll be doing...
This is an opportunity to join a growing team at a moment where we’re pivoting to a creative direction. If you’re a ideas person who can think strategically and succeed working at the centre of a fast, collaborative creative process then this is your chance to shape the direction with us and help build something exciting.
You will be one of three main creative leads (alongside our Commercial Editorial Director and our Creative Strategy Director) working together and independently to deliver new business pitches, reporting into the Creative Director. You will lead the creative development of winning campaign ideas and ensuring delivery is of the highest creative quality.
Whilst you might have started out as an art director or a copywriter, you will be a hybrid in your creative soul and you’ll be equally very comfortable creating both a stirring manifesto and a directional moodboard. If you’ve been a hybrid from day one, that’s a bonus. You probably work solo as a senior creative at either a traditional creative, PR, social or content-focused agency.
You will collaborate with Planning and Sales Directors on responding to new briefs. You’ll be comfortable moving as three with sales and planning, being in it with them right upstream, from when the brief lands in the department. Your role will not just be executional so you will need to excel at deconstructing a brief and unpacking the brief behind the brief, and spotting and running with the creative opportunity.
You will have experience managing junior creatives, as this role both directing the work of other creatives and designers, and directly managing two team members.
Finally, you will be the person “running the room” in brainstorming sessions and when we take WIP concepts to our editorial teams to get their feedback, input, and development. This will often include editors up to Editor-in-Chief level.
If all of this sounds like you, you’ll have the support of an excellent team around you and the chance to pitch for and work on creative branded content campaigns for some of the worlds most exciting and desirable brands across luxury, fashion, beauty, homes, design, wealth, tech, gaming, sport, leisure, entertainment and knowledge. And you’ll get to see your work come to life on amazing titles (think Marie Claire, Living Etc, Wallpaper, The Week, Who What Wear, T3, Tech Radar, Games Radar and many more…) and off-platform across social, digital, video, experiential, live, and whatever else you can come up with…
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
