About the team and role

Loqate - NYC

Our NYC Loqate team continues to grow, reaching almost 30 employees. Our hybrid work model allows us to take advantage of the convenience of working from home, while also providing an opportunity to come together in-office to collaborate and socialize on a regular basis. Our office is centrally located in mid-town Manhattan – our WeWork rooftop allows us to enjoy an awesome view of the Empire State Building in the summer months. We look forward to continuing to grow the team! 

Sales Development Representative

Loqate is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our NYC sales team. In this role you will be responsible for partnering with Enterprise and Mid-Market Sales Executives to drive net new meetings with the world's largest brands. This role will allow you to connect with prospects and generate new business opportunities to drive growth for the company.

What you will do 

  • Perform market research, identify companies that fit our ideal customer profile and build target account lists.
  • Perform in-depth research on the strategic initiatives of these companies, reach out to these companies through various channels such as email, social, and phone.
  • Help drive event attendance in partnership with Marketing and Sales
  • Qualify these opportunities based on fit and prospective business problems
  • Help sales executives prepare for calls and meetings with relevant background information about these companies and assist in sales calls
  • Assist in sales processes by helping to write proposals and presentation

Skills we’re looking for

  • Proven ability to work independently with a self-driven, proactive mindset
  • Strong intrinsic motivation to exceed targets and continuously improve performance
  • Commercially savvy with a competitive, winning attitude and a passion for achieving results
  • Demonstrated ambition and drive to grow within a high-performance sales environment
  • Naturally curious and eager to become an expert in location intelligence and data quality solutions
  • Skilled in researching and understanding target accounts, industries, and buyer personas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects across multiple channels
  • Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a high volume of outreach
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to align with marketing and account executives on strategy
