We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing company based in Clifton, NJ. The Controller will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, and supporting operational efficiency through advanced technological tools. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight and Reporting:
• Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, forecasts, and reports to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
• Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure budget adherence.
Cost Management:
• Monitor and manage costs across manufacturing operations to maximize profitability.
• Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Process Improvement:
• Leverage technology to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain ERP systems or other financial tools to improve accuracy and productivity.
• Analyze current workflows and propose process enhancements.
Leadership and Collaboration:
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing financial insights for decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a Controller or senior-level financial manager, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced financial tools (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting principles.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 per year.
