The Role

The Sales Support Analyst plays a pivotal role in our fast-paced environment, ensuring the seamless execution of our sales and retail energy service deliverables. As an integral member of the team, the Sales Support Analyst is tasked with managing workflows, liaising with sales team and external brokers, coordinating with pricing and operations, and maintaining data integrity.


What you might work on:
  • Workflow Oversight: Oversee time-sensitive processes to ensure that strict deadlines are met. This involves the diligent coordination and entry of data, generation of reports and analyses, and the facilitation of retail energy opportunities from pricing to contract execution.
  • Internal Communication: Maintain consistent dialogue with the sales team, pricing, and operations to provide updates and receiving guidance on workflow progress and requirements.
  • Task Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team and external brokers to confirm the completion of tasks and to keep projects advancing in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Data Management: Supervise the import of data, upholding the highest standards of accuracy and thoroughness, to safeguard the integrity of client-related activities.
  • Broker Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for external broker support, offering the necessary support to accommodate their requests effectively, and clearly communicating with all parties internal and external.
  • Report Administration: Keep inter-office reports up-to-date, ensuring that all information is current and correctly disseminated within the organization.
  • Cross Functional Support:  Willing and able to jump into various functions to support the sales process including pricing, contract generation, and contract booking.


You might be a good fit if you:
  • 2+ years analyst experience in a retail energy advisory and/or brokerage business environment
  • Demonstrated energy analyst and analytical experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of energy markets and related subject matter
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks
  • Ability to self-start within the atmosphere of a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word) & Google Cloud based products


$60,000 - $100,000 a year

What’s your policy on remote work?

We value the ability to work and collaborate in-person in our early stage as a startup, so Gridmatic has a hybrid policy of "50% in-office” (2 or 3 days a week).


How does the interview process work?

We start with 1-2 initial conversations about the role, your past experience, and Gridmatic as a company. If that goes well, you’d come onsite to Houston to talk to the team an potentially meet with some leaders remotely in Cupertino.
