Our flagship app, Messenger Pigeon, goes beyond note-taking and transcription, fostering inclusive learning by enabling students to capture, organize, and engage with content. With a user-friendly interface and multimedia support, Messenger Pigeon elevates the learning experience for all.

Role Overview: We are looking to expand our marketing team with new roles, and are currently seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a Video Content Creator. The successful candidate will be able to produce engaging video content for our social media channels, including guides, tutorials, and advertisements, snippets and informational content. This role will provide hands-on experience in video production, content strategy, and social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing manager to develop video content ideas.
• Create high-quality video content, including filming, editing, and post-production.
• Produce various types of videos such as guides, tutorials, promotional ads, and social media snippets.
• Ensure all video content aligns with Habitat Learn’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production and social media.
• Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns.

• Strong understanding of video production techniques.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar).
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their video content requirements.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Portfolio or examples of previous work are highly desirable.

One year fixed term employment (25-35 hours per week) with the prospect of a permanent position and growth opportunities. $25-27 per hour depending on experience.
