Role Description:


A Hakkoda Business Analyst will work with clients and key stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements, collect and analyze data to identify trends, and provide insights that directly impact sales opportunities. This role is instrumental in supporting account executives by proactively identifying high-potential opportunities, delivering intelligence on companies, contacts, and market conditions, and equipping the sales team with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, highly responsive professional with exceptional analytical skills, presentation capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. This person will be responsible for preparing detailed company profiles, industry reports, and sales intelligence decks while ensuring that insights are delivered in a timely and actionable manner. A successful Business Analyst thrives in a fast-paced environment, proactively seeks out patterns in data, and continuously refines processes to enhance sales effectiveness.This is a highly analytical and strategic role where you will leverage data insights, communicate findings through compelling presentations, and drive key business decisions to support sales initiatives. Your success will directly impact the ability of account executives to identify and close high-value deals.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:


We are looking for individuals who drive awareness of requirements across different business groups and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data. Ability to transform business processes that promote increased efficiency and productivity at multiple levels.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the process of documenting, analyzing, tracking, prioritizing and agreeing on requirements from business and technology stakeholders.
  • Create user stories and use case documentation.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with project team members and stakeholders.
  • Controlling change and communication to relevant stakeholdersUpdate documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentationContinue to grow and learn of the data space long term.
  • Researching and analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential client opportunities to provide actionable intelligence to the sales team.
  • Creating concise and compelling sales enablement materials, including company profiles, industry reports, and contact insights.
  • Managing multiple sales intelligence requests and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Proactively engaging with account executives, understanding their needs, and adjusting insights to maximize effectiveness.
  • Developing interactive dashboards and reports to track sales opportunities and market trends.
  • Presenting findings through clear, visually engaging decks to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Continuously improving data processes to increase efficiency and productivity at multiple levels.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Business Intelligence role, with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology, business or equivalent area.
  • Strong technical acumen and ideally consulting background.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Looker  to create impactful insights.
  • Exceptional presentation skills—ability to craft and deliver compelling reports and decks that influence decision-making.
  • Proven track record in time management and self-driven execution, ensuring responsiveness and high-quality deliverables.
  • Knowledge of SQL for analytical and data transformation processes.
  • Ability to work in Agile teams.
  • Advanced English; excellent written and verbal communication skills.


DESIRABLE:
  • Experience in SaaS.
  • Experience in the Construction industry.
