Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in Memphis, MO. The ideal candidate will have strong general phlebotomy skills, experience with specialized blood collection methods, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in collecting blood specimens by venipuncture, as well as performing clerical and receptionist duties related to laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and specialized collection methods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Meet expectations for minimal number of draws required and volume of tests performed.
• Order and process laboratory tests in compliance with established protocols.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties, including maintaining accurate patient records and handling inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and laboratory safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring patient comfort and professionalism during the collection process.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care.

Education & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a phlebotomy course.
