Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking a Marketing Lead with expertise in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives aligned with business growth objectives. The ideal candidate will excel at creating innovative solutions, driving market differentiation, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful brand positioning. This role requires a seasoned marketing professional with a strong understanding of industry trends and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned to growth, industry, and service area objectives, incorporating market research to ensure differentiation.
  • Create innovative approaches to market positioning and client engagement, ensuring client-centric solutions that address key business challenges.
  • Integrate Growth Office priorities into marketing strategies and drive bold initiatives to position the firm effectively.
  • Lead alliance marketing efforts across the firm, aligning with the Africa's brand pillars and leveraging insights to strengthen client and industry relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Line Leadership, Communications and Marketing Managers, and SMEs to align marketing initiatives with strategic brand positioning.
  • Align with Executive Leadership and the Market Integration team to deliver impactful strategic brand activities in line with defined objectives.
  • Drive the development and execution of Brand Strategy, ensuring alignment across the Brand, Marketing, and Communication units.
  • Foster connections with African counterparts to ensure cohesive engagement and strategic alignment across the continent.
  • Lead industry marketing initiatives, providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure successful execution.
  • Enable the marketing team to drive projects effectively, offering direction and support where needed.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder and vendor engagement frameworks to optimize project delivery.
  • Implement robust project management frameworks and tools to enhance operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Oversee marketing governance processes, including firmwide QIRR processes and adherence to member firm standards.
  • Develop best practice frameworks for insights reporting, linking marketing efforts to revenue, relationships, and reputation.
  • Manage marketing finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and project tracking.
  • Work closely with industry strategists and marketers to oversee financial planning and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in execution.
  • Provide insights on operational performance, budgets, and growth opportunities to leadership.
  • Establish strategic platforms for delivering media and industry insights to leadership teams.
  • Deliver monthly reporting and insights for the Chief Growth Officer and broader leadership teams.
  • Provide strength-based leadership, inspiring and building a talent pipeline within the marketing team.
  • Support team development through upskilling initiatives and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Drive collaboration across teams to ensure excellence in delivery and innovation in marketing approaches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading strategic marketing initiatives within a professional services environment.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute growth-focused marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration to drive brand positioning.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning within a marketing context.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing governance and operational processes to support marketing functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Prior experience working in a multinational or complex organizational structure is desirable.
