Job Summary:
As an E-commerce Operations Specialist, you will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and optimization of our product catalog and inventory across various sales channels. This role combines elements of product data entry and e-commerce operations, requiring a detail-oriented individual with strong data management skills, marketplace expertise, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for daily product uploads, inventory management, maintaining meticulous records, and researching and inputting accurate product information.
Responsibilities:
● Product Data Entry & Management:
○ Research product information from various online sources to gather important details.
○ Accurately input product data, including images, attributes, descriptions, and measurements.
○ Perform basic image editing tasks to ensure product images meet required standards.
○ Optimize product listings for search engine visibility.
● Daily Product Uploads:
○ Upload new product data daily to various sales channels (e.g., Poshmark, eBay, Shopify, etc.) using Excel files.
○ Ensure product listings adhere to marketplace guidelines and best practices. ○ Review and correct any data errors within marketplace portals.
● Inventory Management:
○ Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock.
○ Implement inventory management processes and tools to optimize efficiency.
● Record Maintenance:
○ Maintain organized records of all product and inventory uploads for reference and auditing purposes.
○ Prepare and format reports to align with templates.
● Collaboration:
○ Work closely with the Marketplace Operations team to identify and resolve issues and inefficiencies related to product and inventory uploads.
Qualifications / Experience:
● Marketplace Expertise: Understanding of online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Poshmark, etc.) and their specific requirements for product listings and inventory management.
● Product Knowledge: Familiarity with product categories, attributes, and pricing strategies, ideally within the fashion industry.
● Data Management Expertise: Proven ability to accurately and efficiently enter and manage large volumes of data, including experience with data cleaning, validation, and analysis techniques.
● Excel Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, functions, data sorting, filtering, and pivot tables for data analysis and reporting.
● Proficiency in G-Suite: Familiarity with G-Suite applications such as Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Calendar.
● Communication Tools: Knowledge of communication tools like Slack.
● CRM Experience: Experience with CRM software is a plus.
● Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency. ● Organized: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
● Independent Worker: Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks. ● Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
