Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Real Estate Project Manager to lead and coordinate various aspects of our development projects in the California area. This role requires hands-on experience in real estate development, the ability to manage complex timelines and stakeholders, and a proactive mindset for driving progress across multiple active sites.

You’ll work directly with executives and external partners to ensure projects are well-planned, on-budget, and executed with excellence—from land acquisition through construction and closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication across all stages of real estate development projects.

  • Land Search Coordination: Assist in identifying and evaluating new land acquisition opportunities, including site analysis and local zoning review.

  • Bid Review Management: Review and compare multiple bids across multiple active projects.

  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and third-party professionals, including architects, contractors, consultants, and municipal authorities.

  • Contractor Oversight: Review contractor bids, negotiate scopes of work, and coordinate scheduling for active construction sites.

  • On-Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure that work meets quality and regulatory standards.

  • Document Management: Review and interpret complex documents (plans, permits, bids, title reports) and ensure compliance across the board.

  • Reporting & Communication: Draft regular project updates, status reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Budget Tracking: Maintain and update project budgets using advanced Excel, analyzing costs and flagging potential overruns or risks.
  • 4+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or related project management roles.

  • Strong knowledge of the California real estate market and permitting processes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and accountability.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to write professional proposals and speak confidently with high-level stakeholders.

  • Experience working with contractors, architects, and city planning departments.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build detailed pro formats, perform underwriting, and manage project budgets and financial models for development analysis and reporting.

  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a “no task too small” attitude.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with high-end residential or luxury development projects.

  • Familiarity with construction management software or development tracking tools.

  • Background in architecture, urban planning, or engineering.
