🌟 Your Impact at Lila 

Lila Sciences is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager for a 12mo contract term to lead the planning and execution of our new +100,000 sq ft commercial building in Boston. This role will oversee the full project lifecycle - from concept and design to construction, occupancy, and closeout. The Senior PM will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, including our real estate development partner to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of our new space. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized professional with a proven track record in commercial real estate project management.

🛠️ What You'll Be Building

• Project Planning & Oversight
  • Serve as Lila’s representative for all aspects of the Boston site buildout.
  • Lead daily coordination of the +100,000 sq ft ground-up development in partnership with the real estate developer and the broader project team.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, overseeing daily execution to ensure adherence to the approved scope, schedule, safety standards and budget.
  • Proactively identify and flag issues or scope changes, recommending solutions to the Facilities Director.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including updates for internal leadership.
• Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Assist in vendor selection and contract review processes.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for architects, engineers, contractors, and the development partner and project team, managing logistics, site access, and ongoing field coordination
  • Coordinate permitting processes and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Execution & Delivery
  • Oversee day-to-day project execution through regular site visits, progress tracking, and active problem-solving.
  • Coordinate punch lists, inspections, and occupancy readiness.
• Communication & Reporting
  • Provide regular updates and maintain clear records for internal stakeholders on project status, timelines, budget performance, change orders, and key deliverables.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination between facilities, operations, finance, and executive leadership.

🧰 What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate or facilities project management.
• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction, experience with 100,000+ sq ft projects strongly preferred.
• Background in building energy, semi-conductor, biotech, life sciences, or related lab/office hybrid environments.  
• Excellent communication, organization, and project planning skills.
• Familiarity with Boston permitting processes and regulatory environments.

✨ Bonus Points For

• PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.

Location:
This role is based in Boston and requires regular on-site presence.
