Business Development Specialist (Independent Retail)

Position Overview:

EasyBuy Choice seeks an experienced Business Development Specialist to expand our presence in the Los Angeles metropolitan area's independent retail market. This role focuses on building relationships with local retailers in the pet supplies vertical, as well as home furnishings, garden equipment, and fitness sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

You will drive market expansion through relationship-based sales strategies in the Los Angeles territory.

Your core responsibilities include developing and maintaining partnerships with independent retailers through systematic market engagement.

You will conduct regular in-person visits to identify and qualify potential retail partners, particularly targeting retailers with annual revenues between $1-5 million.

Managing the complete sales cycle, you will build trust-based relationships with store owners and purchasing managers while ensuring smooth integration with our fulfillment capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

● 3+ years of B2B sales experience in retail or distribution, with proven success in developing relationships with independent retailers

● Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and supply chain dynamics

● Experience in the pet supplies industry preferred

● Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with traditional retail business owners

● Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

● Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the Los Angeles metropolitan area

Compensation & Benefits:

● Base Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

● Performance-Based Commission Structure with earning potential up to $100,000 - $120,000 annually
