Salary: 1,200 - 1,600 AUD / monthly

Who We Are: At Hunt St we help Australian companies directly hire top 5% remote talent in the Philippines. You will be hired directly by the client, typically as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is:

The client is a well-loved café located in Richmond, Victoria, Australia, known for serving high-quality coffee from 6:00 am daily. Their menu features a range of beverages, including lattes, iced lattes, hot chocolate, and cappuccinos, alongside freshly baked treats like Nutella cronuts and almond croissants. They also offer premium tea selections such as English Breakfast and Spring Green Tea.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist / Social Media Manager to help elevate the online presence of a well-loved café in Richmond, Victoria. The café has been successfully operating for two years with a small, dedicated team and is now ready to expand its digital reach.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and developing online marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. Additionally, they will play a key role in launching and managing an e-commerce platform for selling the café’s coffee beans and merchandise online.

This role offers growth potential, as the café is looking to expand its online operations over time. If you have a passion for digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce, and love the idea of working with a community-focused café, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy to enhance the café’s online presence.
  • Manage social media accounts, create engaging content, and grow audience engagement.
  • Plan and schedule posts across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
  • Set up and manage an online store for selling coffee beans and merchandise.
  • Optimize content for SEO to increase brand visibility and website traffic.
  • Run paid social media advertising campaigns to attract new customers.
  • Track and analyze social media and website performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the café team to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and engage with the online community.
  • Identify growth opportunities and recommend innovative marketing ideas.

  • At least 2-3 years experience in digital marketing and social media management
  • Experience in e-commerce and online sales, including setting up and managing online stores.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content that aligns with the brand.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies
  • Knowledge of SEO and online visibility strategies to improve brand presence.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media scheduling, analytics, and advertising platforms.
  • Strong content creation skills (copywriting, basic design, and video editing).
  • Ability to work independently and bring creative ideas to the table.
  • Passion for coffee and hospitality is a plus.
