About the position:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior/Mid-Level QA Engineer to join Sitecore's technology hub in Sri Lanka. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation, focusing on automation, while being proactive, open to feedback, sharing knowledge and information and carrying a positive can-do attitude.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Contribute to both external and internal product documentation

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-24 months of experience in software testing.
  • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks like SpecFlow, Selenium, JMeter, Playwright or equivalent.
  • Familiarity in working with programming languages like C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript or equivalent
  • Experience with GitHub actions or TeamCity and equivalent pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in Cucumber, Postman and Web API 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL Server and SQL queries.
