We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in the Oil and Gas sector. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that the products and processes meet industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess a strong understanding of quality management principles within the oil and gas field.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards for products, materials, and processes in the oil and gas sector.
ā¢ Conduct thorough inspections and quality tests on components, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and project requirements.
ā¢ Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
ā¢ Investigate and analyze root causes of quality problems, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and oversee their implementation.
ā¢ Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure external products and materials meet quality standards.
ā¢ Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and certification agencies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
ā¢ Prepare detailed quality reports, including data analysis, trends, and improvement recommendations.
ā¢ Assist in the development and review of project documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and specifications.
ā¢ Conduct training sessions for staff on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
ā¢ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
ā¢ Proven experience in quality engineering within the oil and gas industry.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and practices relevant to oil and gas operations.
ā¢ Proficiency in conducting various quality tests, inspections, and non-destructive testing methods.
ā¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
ā¢ Detail-oriented approach to documentation and data analysis.
ā¢ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
ā¢ Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
