Job Description

At Technomic, we're seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to join our Data Management team in a part-time, remote capacity. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our menu data, contributing directly to our business intelligence services in the food and beverage industry.

As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities

  • Accurately collect, organize, and input menu data into our systems
  • Utilize internet resources for thorough research and data verification
  • Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to ensure data quality and timeliness
  • Manage data using Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel proficiency
  • Extract and process information from PDF documents
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Assist in creating reports and summaries based on collected data
  • Meet deadlines for quarterly menu updates

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 29 hours available)
  • Personal desktop computer or laptop with secure internet connection
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Deadline-oriented mindset
  • Professional approach with adaptability and eagerness to learn

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in data entry or related roles
  • Basic understanding of the food, beverage, and restaurant industry
  • Familiarity with menu structures
