We are looking for a Junior Underwriting Assistant here at ABI, based in Westlake Village, CA. You’ll be working for a busy Commercial Insurance Brokerage that specializes in the "for hire" transportation industry, which includes taxicab, limousine, and rideshare TNC APP based companies.

Supported by (and reporting to) the Chief Underwriting Officer, you'll be joining a friendly team of nine who believe in delivering exceptional service with a high standard of integrity.

What you'll do

As our Junior Underwriting Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Underwriting department by collecting external customer information, performing data entry, helping with risk assessments, state filings, motor vehicle record reviews, policy cancellations/reinstatements, and policy binds.

Our budget for this role is between $50,000 - $60,000 and we will take into account your previous experience and location of work when agreeing on the final offer.
