QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testing processes.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing features.
• Perform both manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and provide suggestions for improvements in the development process.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation related to test results and defect reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks as an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
