Production Office Assistant

This position supports the production and operations teams to ensure proper record keeping and maintenance of production schedules, while adhering to quality systems and standards.  This is a full-time position with daytime hours, primarily Monday through Friday; this candidate must be available for early morning hours. 

Essential Job and Duties:

·      Data entry of production records, including closing batch tickets 

·      Assistance of weekly and daily production schedules

·      Maintains proper documentation of the above

·      Creating and printing finished good labels using easy to learn software programs

·      Manages periodic physical inventory of labels and perform reconciliation of inventory in database

·      Understanding of and implementing lot codes accurately

·      Cross reference production dates and lot codes, product names and ingredient panels

·      Answering phone calls and taking messages

·      Learn the various product lines and functions of each

·      Support cross-functional team members in order to meet deadlines

·      Assist office and floor supervisors with daily tasks

·      Act as a liaison between operations, shipping and supply chain 

·      Be capable of working in various work settings of the facility including laboratory, office and plant areas

·      Other duties as assigned
