Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for sourcing and attracting top talent, as well as supporting the coordination and administration of the hiring process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a passion for finding the right fit for our company culture and corporate objectives.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute recruitment plans to attract high-quality candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Assist with job postings, social media updates, and other recruitment marketing activities to attract top talent.
  • Promote Janux Therapeutics as an employer of choice by participating in job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities.
  • Conduct initial screenings and assess candidate qualifications to ensure a strong match with job requirements and Janux culture.
  • Schedule virtual and on-site interviews, coordinate logistics, and manage communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS, including candidate information and recruitment metrics.
  • Compile recruitment data utilizing ATS to support continuous improvement of the hiring process.
  • Assist with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Assist in the preparation of offer letters, coordinate background checks, and handle other administrative tasks related to the hiring process.
  • Provide a positive and professional experience for all candidates, from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition administration or recruitment within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience as a recruiter within a recruitment firm/agency specialized in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the different practice areas of a growing biotechnology is a must.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


$105,000 - $120,000 a year
In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $105,000 to $120,000, we offer stock options, restricted stock units, a stock purchase plan (ESPP) and a target bonus.  Janux also provides a comprehensive benefits package for our employees and their families, which includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental disability insurance.
 
Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and internal equity.
