For one of our clients, we are looking for an Admissions Specialist (Special Needs), remotely from Europe or East Coast US time zones.

As an Admissions Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring families and children with diverse educational, social, and emotional needs are matched successfully to a unique educational community. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, streamlining processes, and fostering empathetic communication. By ensuring a seamless admissions experience, you will contribute to the success and satisfaction of families, aligning them with the program's values and goals. This is a part-time, fully remote role, ideal for professionals passionate about making meaningful connections and driving impactful change.

Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate admission applications to ensure alignment with program values and requirements.
  • Conduct optional assessment calls with families to understand children’s developmental, social, and emotional needs.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in the admissions process, collaborating with internal teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide clear, empathetic communication to families at all stages of the admissions process.
  • Develop mid-term family assessments to evaluate post-admission experiences and share insights with internal teams.

Strong English communication skills to explain complex decisions in an accessible manner.

Proven experience (3-5 years) in admissions or profiling, especially evaluating families or individuals for programs or services.

Expertise in working with special needs and understanding children’s educational, social, and emotional development.

Familiarity with developmental milestones and strategies for supporting diverse learning profiles.

Proficiency in digital tools such as CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Slack).

Empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills for addressing family dynamics and sensitive topics.

Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse families.

Must be based in Europe or East Coast US time zones.
