For one of our clients, we are looking for a Credentialing Associate, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will assist with the provider credentialing and recredentialing processes by supporting the collection and verification of credentials. You will work closely with the Credentialing Manager to handle administrative tasks and collaborate with various teams, including network development, customer success, and compliance. Your main responsibilities will involve managing document uploads, data entry, preparing credentialing packets, and ensuring efficient credentialing processes for provider groups, especially in high-risk markets.

Accountabilities:

  • Perform document uploads and data entry associated with the credentialing process.
  • Review and approve provider credentials using the homeAlign™ platform.
  • Prepare credentialing packets for supervisor review and Credentialing Committee voting.
  • Prioritize credentialing for provider groups in high-risk markets as identified by the Network Development team.
  • Engage with providers via outbound outreach to expedite the credentialing process when necessary.
  • Initiate the credentialing process with newly identified providers.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
  • Proficient in documenting reports clearly and concisely.
  • Professional phone demeanor and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems and working with new programs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Competitive hourly rate of $19.23 per hour.
  • Flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
