Your Impact

As a B2B Content Marketing Specialist you will report to the Head of Sales and you will help Jobscan's B2B sales team develop a demand pipeline by writing interesting, value-adding, and well-researched content.


Within the first 30 days you will develop an understanding of our ideal customer profile, assist in developing an ambitious content strategy for the year, and begin writing your first few content pieces.


While the focus of the role is to develop and execute the content strategy, there is unlimited opportunity for an ambitious marketer to flex their skills and contribute in other areas of the B2B marketing strategy.

•  A strong understanding of marketing and sales principles, you’ll be helping bridge the gap between B2B content marketing strategy and a motivated outbound sales team.

•  An obsession for writing compelling and engaging content.

•  Understanding of SEO best practices.

•  Strong interest in fast-growing tech companies is a plus!


The Challenges

We’re a fully bootstrapped small company that is growing very quickly. There will be growing pains. It can be a bit chaotic at times with competing priorities and that backlog just keeps expanding, but it’s an evolving company culture and you can help shape it. Until then, you have to be very comfortable with lack of structure, understand that you won’t have time to do everything, and know how to prioritize tasks on your own. Don’t be surprised if priorities change often.


The Team

The B2B Content Marketing Specialist has an exciting opportunity to be the dedicated marketing support for an established sales and account management team of 9. You'll be supported by your manager, Isaac Taylor(Head of Sales), with clear objectives and opportunities for skills growth. You'll also get the opportunities to work with the company CEO, James Hu, and provide direct updates on B2B content marketing activities to him and other company leaders.

Interview Process

Here is what you can expect for our interview process:


1. Call with our recruiting team (30 minutes)

2. B2B writing task - we won't ask for free work, but the task will give us an idea how you approach a topic (Self-paced: 1-3 hours)

3. Interview with Head of Sales (1 hour)

4. Team interview with 3 members from sales and marketing (1 hour)


The expected salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 CAD
