Marketing Specialist

Kahuna, a leading skills and competency management SaaS platform, is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is designed to drive new customer growth and enhance customer engagement. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing high-impact demand generation strategies that attract, engage, and convert prospects into qualified leads.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building awareness, driving inbound leads, and nurturing prospects through the sales funnel in alignment with both sales and marketing objectives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our efforts result in measurable, high-quality leads that support our growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Development: Plan, create, and execute integrated demand generation campaigns across multiple channels (email, paid media, social media, SEO, content marketing, webinars, etc.) to attract and engage prospects.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and execute targeted campaigns to attract and convert high-quality leads, utilizing various tactics such as gated content, email nurturing, social media, paid advertising, and other digital marketing strategies.
  • Metrics, Reporting, and Data-Driven Strategy: Take ownership of tracking, analyzing, and reporting on campaign performance using tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Salesforce. Measure effectiveness with key metrics (lead volume, MQLs, SALs, conversion rates), optimize campaigns based on insights, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align campaigns, qualification criteria, and follow-up strategies. Collaborate with product and customer success teams to ensure messaging is aligned across all touchpoints.
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Regularly test and optimize key campaign elements such as subject lines, email copy, landing page designs, and CTAs to increase lead conversions.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Contribute to ABM initiatives to target high-value accounts with personalized campaigns aimed at driving awareness and engagement.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or related fields in a SaaS company.
  • Campaign Management: Proven track record of planning, executing, and optimizing demand generation campaigns across various channels (PPC, social media, email, SEO, etc.).
  • Marketing Automation: Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and Salesforce.
  • Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze campaign performance, report on key metrics, and optimize strategies based on data insights.
  • Lead Nurturing: Experience building and optimizing lead nurturing programs, including email workflows and lead scoring models.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and edit content for various formats (emails, landing pages, ads, social posts) and clearly communicate marketing strategies and results to cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines, working effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
