KEI Steam Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. Our expertise spans the Process, HVAC, Food & Beverage, Industrial, Refining, and Power markets throughout the Midwest. In this role, you will be integral to our sales operations, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of support and information about our products and services. You will work closely with the sales team to streamline processes, enhance customer relations, and contribute to achieving our sales targets. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for helping customers meet their steam and fluid system needs. Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in managing and tracking sales leads and opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage sales documentation, including quotes, proposals, and contracts.
  • Coordinate communication between sales, technical support, and service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update the customer database and sales tracking systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and marketing materials.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and organizing travel arrangements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales support or administrative roles, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about steam and fluid systems.
