Client Service Associate

Kendall Capital is a rapidly growing independent, fee-only Fiduciary advisory firm offering planning and investment services for Middle-Class Millionaires®. While we are located in Rockville, Maryland, we have clients all over the Washington, DC area and across the nation. Our knowledgeable, experienced professionals work with individuals, families and small business owners to provide high-quality advice with high-touch, personal service.  We are a Registered Investment Advisor firm, so no FINRA or Insurance licenses are required.

 

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable individual who is passionate about helping others and is willing to learn. This role requires a high level of detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across our firm.   Ideally, a candidate for CFP® certification or a graduate of a CFP® college program, but experience in banking, mortgages, or other customer-oriented financial services would be an excellent fit.

 

This role offers significant opportunities to learn about the financial services industry from a team with decades of experience.  The Client Service Associate would have hands-on, client-facing opportunities to earn the required hours to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and advance within the firm to become a Relationship Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance the client experience at Kendall Capital by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and assisting Senior Financial Planners in providing exceptional wealth management for our high net worth clientele.

 

Client Service

·       Respond timely to day-to day client inquiries and requests

·       Assist with the onboarding of new clients by opening accounts and overseeing asset transfers.

·       Monitor client needs throughout the year to support the Relationship Manager (financial planner).

Financial Planning / Client Meetings

·       Support advisors by preparing reports and assisting with the development and updating of financial plans.

·       Assist with post-meeting tasks such as updating account information, following-up on paperwork, and recording notes in CRM.

 

Compliance and Documentation

·       Ensure all client interactions and transactions are documented accurately and comply with regulatory requirements.

·       Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Team Collaboration

·       Work closely with other team members to provide comprehensive support to ensure a seamless client experience.

·       College graduate with bachelor’s degree (or on track to graduate in 2025).  Additional compensation considered for a graduate of a CFP® program.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Additional financial planning software experience a plus (MoneyGuidePro, Advisor Engines CRM)

·       Customer Service experience a plus

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

·       Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

·       Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.

·       Willingness to adapt and is team oriented in order to work in a small, rapidly growing company which focuses on the client’s needs and their experience.

·              Salary and Benefits are competitive based on industry standards.

·              Complete compensation package will be based on experience and bonuses are based upon employee performance as well as the overall success of the firm.
