Strategic Sourcing Specialist - job 1 of 2

The company is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing sourcing strategies for operational spend categories. The successful candidate will analyze third-party spend, identify sourcing opportunities, evaluate market conditions, and negotiate agreements that contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or business administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management supporting operations.
• Extensive knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement processes and methodologies.
• Proven experience in developing sourcing strategies, particularly in MRO and maintenance service categories.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing contracts and negotiating terms.
• Proficiency in contract formation and administration.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering value and results.
• Business analysis, market research, financial analysis, and should-cost models expertise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and well-organized documents.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in SAP.
