Legend is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role will be reporting directly to our Head of Analytics and BI.


This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact, senior-level role where you'll help shape the future of analytics within a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, dive deep into performance and product data, and uncover insights that drive key business decisions. From spotting trends and identifying growth opportunities to optimizing engagement and conversion, your work will directly influence strategy. Your Impact:
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets using SQL and R/Python to inform product strategy and business decisions, applying statistical methods such as regression, clustering, and forecasting where appropriate.
  • Monitor and deep-dive into key Sports KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize performance and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Own the end-to-end performance tracking and reporting across the Sports pillar, ensuring stakeholders have timely, accurate, and relevant insights.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights by combining robust analytical thinking with compelling storytelling—translating complex data into meaningful business narratives.
  • Lead and mentor junior analysts, ensuring high-quality, impactful deliverables through regular feedback, coaching, and promotion of best analytical practices.


What You'll Bring:
  • Skilled stakeholder collaborator with the confidence to present insights to senior leadership, gather business requirements, and advocate for team priorities during analytics planning.
  • Naturally curious and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and a drive to dig deeper—especially in cross-functional, multi-location environments.
  • Results-oriented and comfortable owning projects end-to-end, from scoping through execution and delivery.
  • Business-minded analyst who can identify high-impact opportunities where data and analytics can influence strategy and improve outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinker with a track record of exploring data, spotting trends, generating actionable insights, and uncovering areas for growth.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to structure and transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets; you’ll be the go-to expert for reporting needs.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Comfortable working with Python, including reading and writing scripts to support more advanced analyses and automation.


The Interview Process:
  • 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
  • 2nd: Take home technical assessment + Interview with our team, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
  • 3rd: Take home case study - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and prepare a presentation
  • 4th: Final interview and case study presentation, Interviewer 1 and Interviewer 2 (1 hour video via Zoom)
