What will your days be like at LGI Healthcare Solutions? 

The role of the Quality Assurance Analyst is to provide quality assurance and testing activities for our software development projects. As an active member of an Agile development team, you will also work as part of the Software Quality Assurance team to test, write, and execute test cases. You will be responsible for the correct implementation of quality assurance standards, processes, and procedures. This role is essential in the development and implementation of testing procedures. 

How will your contributions be showcased?

• Analysis, design, implementation, execution, and maintenance of manual tests. 
• Analyze requirements to derive test scenarios from functional and technical requirements for complete test coverage of product/project deliverables. 
• Develop and execute test plans/scenarios, ensuring compliance with requirements. 
• Work with the solution development and product management team to ensure that requirements are complete and testable. 
• Ensure application quality according to technology requirements. 
• Attend daily scrum meetings and agile ceremonies to obtain QA findings and feedback at each stage of implementation. 
• Provide test effort estimates for sprint implementations at sprint planning or backlog grooming meetings. 
• Execute different types of tests as required - Front-end Functional Test, Back-end Test, Non-regression Test, Exploratory Test, Smoke Test, Compatibility Test, Automated Test. 
• Document and validate anomalies. 
• Design, maintain, and execute regression test plans. 
• Design, execute, and maintain automated tests.
• Participation in the SDLC process. 
• Proactively help improve the quality assurance process of our solutions. 

What you will bring to LGI Healthcare Solutions to succeed in the role:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or DEC with relevant experience.  
• Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.  
• Understanding of quality assurance concepts and principles. 
• Ability to apply quality assurance and testing techniques to web applications and legacy systems. 
• Ability to identify, prioritize, and document problems encountered during testing. 
• Experience working in an Agile, SCRUM environment. 
• Experience in the design, execution, and maintenance of automated tests. 
• Experience with Xray, JIRA, and Confluence tools (an asset).
• QA certification (an asset). 
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.  
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly. 
• Ability to take on challenges. 
• This position must be bilingual as the candidate will be responsible for working with documentation in both French and English and communicating, orally and in writing, with both French-speaking and English-speaking partners/clients/suppliers/colleagues.
