Our Business Intelligence Architect will design, build, and implement data-driven solutions that empower decision-making across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing BI architecture, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration of data sources to create actionable insights.

• This hybrid role is based on-site in Hudson, New Hampshire in our brand-new Factory and you can see it HERE
• We use a market-based approach to compensation and have replaced annual salary reviews with bi-annual market reviews.

YOUR OBJECTIVE

You improve Life is Good business intelligence and reporting processes by studying the latest tools and technologies making appropriate development recommendations, and implementing them.  You will coordinate cross-functional technical agile teams to implement solutions and resolve issues on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• You design and code medium to high-complexity business intelligence solutions and maintain applications to keep them performing following technical and functional specifications
• You create specialized reports for SAP and other applications
• You interface with functional teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures with information technology and to identify customer solutions
• You assist in defining technical requirements for ongoing systems maintenance and future functionality to meet requirements and improve system efficiency
• You prepare comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including but not limited to specifications, test conditions, test plans, and test data
• You train users in the use of complex reports and provides technical assistance in defining authorization roles, custom workflows, and other related areas
• You maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, technical and functional team members, and users
• You perform related duties as assigned
  

Your Experience and Qualifications:

• You have the knowledge and expertise gained from earning your BS in Information Systems or a similar field of study
• You are known to coworkers and clients as a go-to resource for defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
• You have the knowledge and expertise gained from 5+ years of experience using business intelligence tools like Business Objects, Tableau, etc.
• You know and can articulate relevant software development standards and processes
• You have used BW/BO, Snowflake (or similar), and PowerBI reporting tools as intended and can describe results you've achieved using these tools
• Familiarity with SAP R/3 or S/4 is required and a certification will give you and advantage
