HR Content & Knowledge Program Manager

Summary:

The Global People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive experience across the employee lifecycle. Within People Ops is the HR Technology Content Services team, which maintains the internal information ecosystem. HR Tech is a multidisciplinary team of experts spanning content strategy & technical web production, enterprise content management, system & solution design and data & analytics. This team partners most closely with Engineering, product managers, UX researchers and strategic teams that represent various operational processes and programs.

 

We’re looking for an expert in the domains of project management and HR knowledge management to join the Content Services team. This role focuses primarily on coordinating technical content projects for the HR knowledge base and supporting the implementation and adoption of knowledge management across various HR domains.

 

Responsibilities

Project Management (60%)

  • Triage new work intake from stakeholders to ensure alignment with knowledge management activities and program goals
  • Develop and manage project plans and timelines for content projects across highly cross-functional teams
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with Content Services teammates and relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders and coordinate approvals
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans, as needed
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates and retrospectives
  • Provide regular updates to Content Services team leads to manage coordination with other work in progress and escalate issues to FTEs as needed

 

KM Program Support (40%)

  • Monitor and report on status and progress of team activities within the program and raise awareness of roadblocks for Knowledge Management Lead to resolve
  • Participate in workshops, meetings and trainings to promote, align on, maintain and improve knowledge management
  • Action tactical activities related to the program based on guidance from Knowledge Management Lead (e.g., updating health score readouts, completing Tasks related to program maintenance)
  • Support change management activities around tooling initiatives ensuring smooth adoption of new tools, processes, and systems

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or similar field
  • 4+ years of experience in project or program management experience in operations, customer service/vendor management, or learning & development
  • Proven track record of successfully managing content projects and/or knowledge management projects from concept to launch
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder management
  • Experience working collaboratively across a wide variety of functions to drive effective outcomes
  • Experience with working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools, like Tableau
  • Experience learning new concepts, workflows, processes, and products
  • Experience working on a team with evolving responsibilities and ambiguous requirements, while executing independently
  • Proficiency in, and passion for, project management

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in knowledge management and/or project management
  • Experience as a technical writer, copy writer or editor, and the ability to quickly assess the writing skills of others
  • Experience with benefits, compensation, health care, payroll, and related HR topics
  • Vendor management experience or experience working with external vendors
  • Experience with business process management, workflow and life-cycle management
  • Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures
  • Experience in a fast-paced, Big Tech environment

Location: Remote (United States)

Role type: Contract 12 Month Position

Expected hours: 40 per week
