Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Workforce Planning and Vendor Operations Project Manager to join our Product Data Operations (PDO) AR/VR team. As a vital team member, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality datasets that power AR/VR devices and user experiences. You will drive continuous improvement strategies to achieve efficiency and agility at scale.
About the Role: This role encompasses two key functions:
Workforce Planning: Develop and implement strategic workforce plans to ensure the right people are in place at the right time, equipped with the right skills, for managing a portfolio of 50+ Contingent Workers (CW). This includes analyzing business trends, forecasting workforce requirements, and creating actionable strategies to meet those needs.
Vendor Operations/Governance: Collaborate with our internal vendor management team to establish vendor governance routines, ensuring PDO-specific needs are met and cost-saving initiatives are implemented effectively.
Responsibilities:
Forecasting and Demand Planning: Analyze business trends, seasonal fluctuations, and other factors to forecast future workforce needs.
Workforce Planning and Optimization: Create and implement robust workforce plans to align staffing with project timelines and skills requirements.
Budgeting and Cost Management: Oversee budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and track KPIs to evaluate the success of workforce planning and vendor governance strategies.
Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Process Improvement: Identify and address gaps in strategies, systems, and processes to support scalable growth.
Collaboration: Work effectively under pressure while ensuring timely collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Data Analysis: Utilize strong analytical and investigative skills, leveraging large datasets and advanced tooling to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in operations within the tech industry, consulting, or related roles.
5+ years of experience in vendor management.
5+ years of workforce planning and forecasting experience.
Strategic mindset with a proven ability to enhance customer experiences through innovation and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across global functional boundaries.
Exceptional judgment and decision-making capabilities, even under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) for data analysis, reporting, and operational decision-making.
Experience driving cross-functional collaboration, coordination, and inspiring teams.
Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences and time zones, including operations teams and senior leadership.
