This role can be based in New York City NY, Chicago IL, or Bellevue WA.

These platforms empower global teams across Sales, Marketing, Support, Operations, Finance and Data to be more productive and successful. The demands of fast-growing multibillion dollar media business have only continued to grow, requiring a senior product leader to set strategic direction, weigh and prioritize the needs of existing and future teams and business growth and to execute against strategic investments to support our employees and businesses.  
 
We are looking to hire a Solution Architect to join our organization and execute the vision, strategy and key initiatives for our LinkedIn Systems & Tools team. This includes leveraging a diverse team to bring big, ambitious ideas “to life” while collaborating closely, partnering across Software Engineering, Data Science, Technical Program Management, Design, other Product Managers, and business stakeholders to set the vision and deliver outcomes to achieve critical business needs.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work effectively across customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver large or significant features successfully.    
  • Stay up to date on new Salesforce features and releases and apply knowledge of B2B sales systems and technologies, including their architecture (e.g., workflows, APIs, runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance requirements) into solutions. 
  • Collaborates with engineering on selecting technologies and making architectural decisions, ensuring agreement on the technical strategy 
  • Run project management of technical solutions from requirements discovery, through quality assurance, user acceptance testing, new feature communications and deployment.  
  • Perform admin tasks on our org as needed such as monitor system performance, usage, and errors, manage user profiles, permissions, security settings, data access, uploads 
  • Review custom fields, objects, formulas, workflows, validation rules, customizations, integrations, workflows, reports, dashboards, and apps using Salesforce tools and best practices 
  • Create reports and dashboards based on system data to help sales product and engineering identify areas of systems improvement and propose solutions to reduce system complexity and improve data quality 
  • Challenge Salesforce Product Owners, Engineering, and business stakeholders on best practices, with a preference for standard over custom functionality where appropriate and preventing future technical debt. 
  • Own Agile processes and operate as a liaison between the sales product management, engineering, and Technical Program Management orgs 
  • Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert and driver of technical transformation

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree  
  • 10+ years' experience of hands-on skills building enterprise salesforce solutions 
  • 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce integrations, complex data storage models, and their implications 
  • 5+ years’ experience with Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud with a focus on internal systems/business applications (Advanced Admin & Platform App Builder Certifications) 
  • 5+ years’ experience in Agile development methodology 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • MS degree in a technology-related field  
  • Experience building enterprise platforms (e.g., Anaplan, Salesforce, Dynamics, WalkMe) in the Go-To-Market space for global companies  
  • Procuring, customizing, integrating, deploying, and managing major B2B Sales technologies for both launch and migration  
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies  
  • Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams  
  • Native Salesforce AI solutioning experience (Einstein Bots/Copilot/Service Agent) preferred  
  • Telephony solutioning experience (Service Cloud Voice) preferred  
  • Experience with Gong, Tableau, Salesforce Engage, Salesforce in Outlook is a plus  
  • Proficient in Excel, and with managing large data sets (Data Loader preferred)  
  • Preferred Credentials: AI Specialist, Application Architect, B2C Commerce Architect, Data Architect, Integration Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect

The pay range for this role is $153,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
