Job Description

This role will be based in San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, or Detroit.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We are looking for an outsourced/vendor sales leader to join our team. You will lead the regional outsourced sales strategy and are responsible for growing revenues from existing customers of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions platform. You will work with internal LinkedIn teams and vendor partners to develop effective strategies to help ensure the long-term success of our advertising SMB customers. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for overall region’s sales KPIs for the segment

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Sales Coaches towards excellence and to overachieve on business goals  

  • Provide data-driven, open, honest and constructive feedback when it comes to skill gaps and training, and execute effective performance management   

  • Monitor weekly sales performance metrics and share sales & customer insights with internal sales leadership via weekly updates and monthly reviews.

  • Conduct weekly sales performance reviews, ensuring rigorous performance diagnoses, mitigation plans, and follow up to deliver results.

  • Build influential, trusted partner relationships with internal partners and vendor sales management while providing appropriate support, resources, and guidance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales outcomes and partner with central teams to drive vendor operations improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. 

  • 8+ of work experience in sales, account management, marketing or consulting. 

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of sales cycle, best practices and techniques.

  • Experience managing and scaling sales teams through vendor partnerships

  • Experience with analysis of sales activities and metrics, sales performance management, and managing to customer outcomes

  • Ability to influence internal and vendor stakeholders without authority through clear and persuasive communication

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The pay range for this role is $216,000 to $330,000 (On Target Earnings). Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
