Logistics Project Manager - 6 Month Contract

Luminary Group is seeking a dynamic Logistics Project Manager for a 6-month contract to lead and coordinate logistics projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects in alignment with the organization’s logistics strategy. Your strong project management skills combined with a solid understanding of logistics processes will be essential to drive success and efficiency within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, plan, and implement logistics projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Develop project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as appropriate.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial compliance and optimization.
  • Analyze logistics performance and project outcomes, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and external partners to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies related to logistics operations.
  • Lead post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and recommend improvements for future projects.
  • Mentor and guide team members in best practices of project management and logistics operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the logistics or supply chain sector.
  • Proven experience managing logistics projects with track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on team collaboration and development.
  • Available to commit to the full duration of the 6-month contract.
