The Opportunity:

The Financial Analyst will support the Director of Finance to provide meaningful financial analysis of M-Files performance including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting across all levels of management within M-Files. 

The role will assist in building out the Financial Planning & Analysis function for the company as it embarks on the next level of growth.

What you will be doing:

• Creating and maintaining monthly & quarterly financial reporting inventory
• Preparing and distributing recurring management reports
• Compiling analysis for inclusion into board meeting materials
• Performing ad hoc financial analysis regarding company profitability, expense analysis, cashflows, headcount, and other key financial metrics
• Creating and monitoring KPIs to measure company performance
• Interfacing with other functions to gather data and driving operational efficiencies
• Contributing with monthly accounting close & reporting process
• Assisting with expense analysis & management
• Participating in budgeting & planning activities
• Will collaborate with Sales, Services, Marketing, People & Culture, and Business Technology as needed

Your background and expertise:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or relevant related work experience as outlined below
• 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field
• Organizational, written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills and ability to interface with highest levels of management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional Excel skills with ability to handle large datasets
• Systems orientation, including ability to quickly learn new tools such as Power BI, NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, or Planful
• US-based, preferably residing within the Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone to align collaboration time with global team members
