Quality Assurance (QA) Trainee - Tampere (Fixed-term, summer 2025)

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Trainee to join M-Files Product Development in Tampere, Finland.
You would join our Trainee Academy program together with other trainees to kickstart your M-Files career.

At M-Files, we are developing a metadata-driven document management platform that enables knowledge workers to instantly find the right information in any context, automate business processes, and enforce information control. Our mission is to improve how our customers do business in the digital, work-from-anywhere world.

As a QA Trainee, you will contribute to ensuring high product quality for our customers. You will have a great opportunity to learn different technologies, as you may be working with e.g. cloud technologies, web applications or mobile apps. As part of product development, you will be working on the cutting-edge product features, for example AI or security. You will learn to use modern software engineering tools and methods in continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation and DevOps.

This role will prepare you to kickstart your career in the software industry. You will have the opportunity to apply your software product development knowledge through the lens of quality. Your exact role will be defined based on your skills and knowledge.

For this role, it would be beneficial to have some of the following competences:

• studies for B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in computer science, IT, or in other technical field
• curiosity to learn about software test design, testing methodologies and technologies
• software development skills, e.g. knowledge of object-oriented programming, test automation
• ability to work as part of a team but also independently
• good communication skills in English

This is a paid fixed-term contract for three to four months, starting in May 2025 (start date can be agreed).
The salary will depend on your study credits and will range between 2200-2880 EUR/month.
