Mango Languages is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Production Designer who can help create engaging educational content. In this full-time, temporary, remote contractor position, you will collaborate with a team of designers, linguists, content developers, and world language education experts to create instructional materials to be used in a world language classroom.
As a Junior Production Designer, you will be expected to design, edit, or create slide and document templates assuming content direction from Mango subject matter experts and adhering to established guidelines from the design team lead. You will use your detailed knowledge of design to modify the material provided by the content developers in such a way that visually enhances the final product while holding true to the core concepts provided. You may also be responsible for editing and reviewing other designers’ work, checking for visual consistency, and ensuring the guidelines are met.
The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of design principles and will be creative about adapting the content provided while remaining on brand. We’re also looking for someone who pays attention to details and is able to work within strict parameters.
The contract for this position is tied to a specific project and will therefore last through project completion (likely 3 months). Contract extensions are a possibility if the project is extended or if other relevant work arises.
