Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
A highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong aesthetic sense and a passion for event coordination and marketing. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with hands-on experience in creating marketing materials using tools like Canva. Known for proactive planning, clear communication, and the ability to manage logistics for both internal and external events. Comfortable handling inquiries, coordinating schedules, and ensuring seamless execution of conferences and forums. Tech-savvy, with a working knowledge of AI tools and digital platforms. Fluent in English and able to collaborate across teams with professionalism and speed, especially in fast-paced, multi-channel environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Organize and coordinate four major events annually, including both virtual and in-person formats.
• Handle end-to-end logistics in close collaboration with internal teams.
• Manage social media platforms (LinkedIn, WeChat), email campaigns, website updates, and event promotions.
• Design and independently create marketing materials such as flyers, social media graphics, and presentations, ensuring high quality and brand consistency.
• Follow up on event-related inquiries to ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Oversee the planning and execution of external conferences and forums, including scheduling and participant engagement.
• Respond promptly via WeChat, the primary tool for internal communication.
• Utilize WeComm and other internal systems as part of daily operations
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail in design and content creation.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including advanced functions) and PowerPoint (for designing professional decks).
• Proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
• Excellent communication skills for both internal coordination and external engagement.
• Open to feedback, training, and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable asking questions and collaborating with team members.
