Quality Inspector
The Quality Assurance Technician reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring high quality output from production and maintaining company quality procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
Essential Duties:
1. Perform inspections on manufactured product in accordance with the company’s ISO 9001 quality procedures. (1st article, in-process, and final inspections)
2. Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials
3. Collect product non-conformance data by completing non-conformance reports
4. Ensure RMA (return material authorization) procedures are followed and forms closed out correctly
5. Perform calibrations on measuring and test equipment
6. Assist with other ISO related-procedures and continuous-improvement projects as assigned
7. Assist with ISO audit processes
8. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment (i.e. measuring tape, dial calipers, micrometers, etc.)
2. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
3. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced work environment
4. Highly organized and detail oriented
5. Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Ability to interface well with staff
