PCRK Group, a leading Massage Envy franchisee, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is vital to supporting our multi-state operations by managing payroll processes, HR administrative functions, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.

The ideal candidate brings experience with multi-state payroll, prevailing wage compliance, and HRIS systems, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process multi-state payroll using our HRIS system while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and audit employee payroll records, ensuring accurate documentation of hours, deductions, and earnings.
  • Oversee payroll taxes, garnishments, and deductions, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Set up employer accounts in new states, including unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation, and tax withholding accounts.
  • Conduct research on state-specific employment and payroll obligations (tax rates, reporting requirements, labor laws).
  • Communicate and coordinate with agencies and vendors to maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support facility-related operations and improvements as needed.
  • Assist with HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and record maintenance.
  • Serve as a resource to employees by addressing questions regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to leadership and prepare various reports and presentations as needed.
  • 2-4 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration, with a focus on multi-state operations.
  • Experience setting up and managing employer accounts and tax registrations.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred) and general payroll software.
  • Familiarity with wage and hour laws, tax compliance, and workers’ compensation policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Location: Hybrid in Tempe, AZ (In-Office: 3 Days per Week, Remote: 2 Days per Week)
  • Pay: $50,000 – $70,000 Annually (DOE)
