Job Posting: Expense Accountant Intern

Location: Denver, CO (In-Office)

Hours: 10-15 hours per week (Preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Expense Accountant Intern to join our team in Denver. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, and financial compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring our expense reports are accurate, properly categorized, and compliant with internal policies.

Responsibilities:

•Audit employee expense reports for compliance with internal policies.

•Verify that expenses are categorized correctly.

•Communicate with employees regarding non-compliance or missing documentation.

•Assist employees with system-related issues.

•Approve expense reports in financial systems for payment.

Qualifications:

•Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

•Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

•Effective communication skills for interacting with employees.

•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

•Experience with financial systems or accounting software is a plus.
