As our Payment Performance Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for conducting AD HOC analysis on the payment and fraud performance of Back Market globally, help the team for projects by providing rigor analysis and automate internal processes. This role also involves monitoring our payment metrics, assisting with reporting and benchmarking best practices.



Your Mission (If You Accept It):⭐
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on the payment and fraud performance,  build dashboards regarding performance metrics.
  • Help building several processes to automate the payment process
  • Participate in the construction of new products & services on the platform and support the technical team in charge of payment to successfully implement them (Card payment optimization, alternative payment methods, etc).
  • Monitor and report our payment metrics: performance, adoption, costs.
  • Benchmark best practices of current and future markets regarding local payment methods, and consumer buying habits.


You’re At The Right Place If: 🥇
  • You are looking for a 5 or 6 month full-time internship from July 2025 - December 2025.
  • Your current French university/school can provide an internship agreement.
  • English is a no-brainer (fully professional capability). If you’re extra cool and speak more languages, bonus points for you!
  • You are familiar with (and love) numbers and have an excellent command of SQL, Excel, Tableau (or any other Data Visualization tool). 
  • Big bonus if you have a first experience in e-commerce, ideally, you already know the world of payment.
  • You are a Swiss Army knife, you are adaptable and enthusiastic about tackling a variety of tasks, embracing challenges.

  • Video-call Skills fit interview and Live case study with the direct manager (45min)
  • Video-call Cultural fit interview with another person in the team (30min)
