The Role

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will report to the Head of Marketing Operations and work closely with the existing Marketing Automation Specialist to ensure seamless execution of automation initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our marketing tech stack and automation workflows that support scalable and efficient marketing operations. Your focus will be on automating workflows, improving lead management, and ensuring seamless data flow between platforms to enhance campaign effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage integrations, troubleshoot system issues, and provide actionable insights from marketing data.


What You’ll Be Doing
  • Build, manage, and optimise marketing automation workflows to streamline operations and improve lead management.
  • Administer and enhance our marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in marketing systems, maintaining reliable syncs between Marketo, Salesforce, Zapier, and other platforms.
  • Design and maintain automated lead scoring, segmentation, and routing to enhance marketing and sales collaboration.
  • Develop and manage integrations between marketing automation, CRM, and third-party platforms via APIs and middleware tools like Zapier, Make, or Replit.
  • Execute, test, and refine email automation campaigns, landing pages, and nurture sequences.
  • Provide insights on campaign performance, automation efficiency, and lead flow tracking.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in automation workflows and integrations.
  • Maintain best practices for automation, data hygiene, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.)


What We Are Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM administration, or marketing operations.
  • Hands-on expertise in Marketo (preferred), Pardot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong background in building and managing workflows, automation rules, and lead scoring models.
  • Experience with APIs, Webhooks, and middleware tools (Zapier, Make, N8N, Replit, etc.).
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email and landing page customisation.
  • Strong analytical mindset to track campaign effectiveness and automation efficiency.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).


This salary may differ depending on location, years of experience, and skill set.
