Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Specialist in the area of Onboarding and Transaction Monitoring to manage and optimize business applications supporting our operations. This role is essential for ensuring smooth performance and full integration of internal systems, enabling us to deliver seamless solutions in the payments and financial services sector.

As a Business Systems Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to administer, support, and optimize our business applications, aligning them with Mellifera's goals. The ideal candidate brings Systems Administration experience and a passion for optimizing business processes

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Administration:

  • Oversee the configuration, customization, and maintenance of Onboarding, Customer Portfolio Management, and Transaction Monitoring Systems to ensure alignment with team workflows and project needs.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and workflows to streamline internal collaboration and communication.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with support as needed.

System Integration & Optimization:

  • Monitor and improve the integration of the systems between each other and with other business systems to ensure data flows seamlessly across systems.
  • Identify areas for process optimization and implement improvements that support team productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with departments to manage system upgrades, new features, and internal application changes.

End-User Support & Training:

  • Provide first-line technical support, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions to ensure staff are equipped to use the systems effectively.
  • Continuously gather feedback from end-users to ensure tools are meeting their needs and improving workflows.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with project managers and internal stakeholders to ensure that business applications support cross-functional initiatives and meet organizational goals
  • Assist in the planning and execution of application updates, rollouts, and new system implementations
  • Work closely with AML, Compliance, Sales and Operations teams to support their ongoing needs and ensure optimal use of the systems

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Specialist, Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role 
  • Experience with Zoho or any other CRM
  • Experience with Identity Verification systems (e.g., Ondato, Sum&Sub, Onfido)
  • Experience with Customer screening, scoring and ongoing monitoring systems (e.g., Complyadvantage, Hawk.ai)
  • Experience with Transaction screening and monitoring systems (e.g., LexisNexis, Fraudio, CA)
  • Familiarity with the foundational principles and regulatory requirements for customer onboarding and transaction monitoring processes with alignment to AML, Compliance and Customer management practices
  • Strong technical skills in systems administration, user permissions, and application integrations
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail, adeptly managing multiple tasks at once in a professional manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach across teams
  • Fluency in English and Russian (both written and verbal)

Nice to have:

  • Background in business analysis
  • Experience with the Go (Golang)

Salary Range:

  • 3,300 - 4,300 EUR gross per month.
