Role: Entry Level E-commerce Backend Specialist
Hours: 8am - 4pm Mountain Standard Time
Hourly Wage: $5 - $9 (Open to negotiation based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Upload and maintain master files for Amazon product listings, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee and manage data quality across Amazon Seller Central, correcting discrepancies and ensuring consistency in product information.
• Monitor and maintain Amazon account health, addressing any issues related to performance metrics, policy compliance, and customer feedback.
• Upload and manage A+ content (Enhanced Brand Content) to improve product detail pages and enhance the customer experience.
• Handle backend Amazon tasks including inventory management, pricing updates, and order processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product listings, content updates, and account health.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, and operations) to ensure seamless integration of backend tasks with the overall ecommerce strategy.
• Analyze Amazon data and performance reports to identify opportunities for process improvements and account optimization.
• Maintain documentation and create standard operating procedures for backend Amazon tasks to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Experience in ecommerce backend operations, specifically with Amazon Seller Central.
• Strong understanding of Amazon account health metrics, compliance policies, and troubleshooting processes.
• Experience managing and maintaining product master files, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Familiarity with A+ Content (Enhanced Brand Content) creation and uploading.
• Knowledge of Amazon SEO best practices, keyword optimization, and backend listing optimization.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in handling bulk data uploads using Excel, CSV files, and Amazon’s flat file templates.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product listings, inventory management, and account health.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product data and listing content.
• Ability to analyze reports and data trends to improve listing performance and account health.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving backend issues efficiently.
