As an Engineering Manager at Millennium, you will be responsible for leadership, resource and project management, expertise sharing, and quality control. Responsibilities include fostering teamwork, tracking progress, resolving issues, and ensuring procedural efficiency. They will support sales efforts, provide project updates, and make strategic decisions. The role emphasizes project management, training, performance assessments, and driving increased productivity, timely project completion, and financial target achievement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork
- Monitor progress, address efficiency issues, and adjust assignments as needed
- Review KPIs, performance metrics, and project milestones
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and resolve team issues
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Make strategic decisions to address challenges and seize opportunities
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance
- Train team members on Engineering Services and relevant tools
- Assign tasks and monitor project timelines, deliverables, and profitability
- Address roadblocks, adjust staffing, and maintain project profitability
- Conduct status meetings, reviews, and L10 meetings
- Update project plans, schedules, and monitor equipment usage
- Recommend improvements in tools, technologies, and processes
- Collaborate with cross-departmentally to solve complex problems
- Lead or participate in meetings, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Generate monthly reports on project status, performance, and key metrics
- Share insights and recommendations with management
- Monitor and improve quality assurance processes
- Ensure data integrity, security, and manage backups and audits
- Schedule and manage training sessions or workshops
- Review individual development goals

- Proven track record in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements to drive operational excellence, boost productivity, and reduce costs.
- Ability to make data-driven, strategic decisions that address challenges and align with business objectives.
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering teams to foster growth and achieve full potential.
- Solid foundation in OSP Engineering, with expertise in ESRI, GIS design, FTTx and network architectures.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes that meet both internal and client standards.
- Strong risk management skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project roadblocks.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, ensuring engineering services meet or exceed expectations.
- Results-driven, focused on achieving measurable success through improved team performance, financial targets, and timely project delivery.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to drive team success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to tackle complex engineering challenges with a solution-oriented approach.
